Meta Rose: Mugonggan
Living roses, glass blocks and tactile interaction.
A solo exhibition of Meta Rose, arranging living-rose interfaces on glass blocks within an audio-visual installation.
Exhibition context
Presented at Mugonggan in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, on 5 July 2025, this solo exhibition brought Meta Rose’s pink visual language and touch-responsive system into a new exhibition setting in South Korea. Sound, moving image and living roses were composed together within the space.
Material arrangement
Living-rose interfaces were arranged on pink glass blocks. This material arrangement distinguished the Mugonggan presentation from the suspended-rose installations: the flowers and glass formed the physical setting for touch-responsive sound and moving image. The configuration carried the recurring materials of Meta Rose into the specific conditions of the exhibition space.
