Album Listening Session

For a pre-release album listening session in Seoul, Park created a continuous thirty-minute audio-reactive visual system designed to unfold across the album without interrupting the act of listening. The work was conceived as full-length event content rather than a series of separate track illustrations.

Visual direction, motion design and the responsive relationship between sound and image were composed as one sustained environment. Changes in rhythm, density and atmosphere shaped the movement of the visual field, allowing the image to develop alongside the music over an extended duration.

The work extends Park’s moving-image practice into a music context while retaining an artist-led visual language across a long-duration event format. Its continuity supports a setting in which the audience’s attention remains with listening, while sound and image are experienced together.
