Respite III
Meta Roses Installation
A touch-responsive floral installation presented within Respite III, an evening bringing floral practice, music and live visuals into a shared setting at Collingwood Yards.
Installation within Respite III
Meta Roses Installation was presented at Respite III on Friday 9 October 2026, from 4 to 10 pm, at XFLOS / Flowerclub in Collingwood Yards. The group audio-visual event brought floral installation, music and visual practices together. Park contributed the interactive rose installation to this shared floral and audio-visual setting.
Living material as an interface
The installation continued Park’s exploration of flowers as tactile interfaces for real-time image and sound. Touch entered the audio-visual system through the material arrangement of the floral work. This placed the participant’s physical encounter with a living material inside the composition, rather than leaving the flowers as a setting for an independent screen work.
Presentation context
Respite III was presented through the shared context of XFLOS, SOYA Florist, Minnie Park and FOZZA. The floral workshop was hosted by XFLOS and SOYA. Park’s installation connected this collaborative setting to her ongoing exploration of living materials, touch and real-time systems.
